Afghan-American Scholarship Program Now Accepting Applications

The Afghan-American Scholarship Program supports students and aid work within the community. In fall 2020, multiple scholarships of up to ,000 will be awarded to graduate students. The application deadline is July 7, 2020.

ACADEMIC CRITERIA: For multi-semester scholarships, recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA for the semester of award disbursement (i.e. Fall 2020). The second disbursement will be made upon verification of GPA.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: In order to be eligible to apply, applicants must:

• Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident


• Identify as a member of the Afghan-American community


• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university for the Fall 2020 semester


• Demonstrate financial need
