Julie Sara leads the development of a unified enrollment strategy for Georgetown’s portfolio of nearly 150 graduate programs, including master’s, Ph.D., dual-degree and custom graduate offerings. Working closely with university and program leadership, and with the Graduate Admissions and Merit Aid teams within Graduate Studies, she will develop and implement innovative, data-informed strategies to optimize enrollment management processes, strengthen recruitment and yield and address emerging enrollment challenges.
Julie Sara joined Georgetown this month from the University of Virginia, where she led strategy and operations as the executive director for UVA’s Northern Virginia campus for four years. Prior to UVA, Julie Sara worked at American University for 11 years. There, she started as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics before transitioning to administrative roles, including as an assistant dean of academic administration.
