The Georgetown University Alumni Association offers a wide array of career services and lifelong learning opportunities for all alumni, aimed at fostering both professional and personal growth.

Employment Resources

Handshake is a career development platform that connects alumni with job opportunities. Georgetown alumni can use it to apply for jobs, register for workshops and sign up to attend employer events. Use your NetID and password to log in. Once logged in, navigate to Career Center >> Career Interests and fill out the questionnaire to personalize your online experience.

Networking and Job Searching

Join Hoya Gateway, the Alumni Association’s online community of 15,000+ Hoyas. Hoya Gateway facilitates networking, career conversations, job searching, affinity groups and informational interviews.

Discounted Career Coaching

If you are navigating a career transition, looking for new career opportunities, seeking growth in your current role or organization or hoping to hone your leadership skills, you may consider engaging with a career or leadership coach. Browse our list of Georgetown-trained and vetted coaches who offer a 10-25% discount on their in-person or remote services for Georgetown alumni.

The McDonough Career Center Resource Library, accessible with GU credentials, provides customized career advice, resources, connections and mentorship to help undergraduate and graduate students use their education for career advancement and professional growth.

Alumni of MSB have access to the school’s Alumni Career Services.

SCS invites federal employees and contractors affected by workforce transitions to schedule a one-on-one career advising appointment with Lisa Andrews, Director of Integrated Career Development for SCS Noncredit Certificates.

SFS alumni can access career resources, events and other opportunities through an alumni resource document developed by the SFS Career Center.

Pivot with Purpose, a new SFS initiative created with support from The Rockefeller Foundation, is a public resource available to all international development professionals experiencing a career transition. Find Seminar Series dates and additional career resources on the program’s website.
