If you want to upskill, build new skills, or quickly pivot your career, we are providing short-term professional certificates across several fields at a 30% discount to displaced federal employees through May 31, 2026.

10% Tuition Scholarship for Master’s Students

If you’re seeking to deepen your expertise, expand your professional network or transition to a new career, pursuing a master’s degree may be a valuable step.  

Georgetown is proud to offer a 10% scholarship on base tuition and a waived application fee to current or recently separated federal civil government employees. These benefits are applicable to federal workers and affiliates applying for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

Please contact your program of interest for details. Eligible programs include those in the following schools:

*Starting in the 2026-27 admissions cycle, graduate programs formerly under the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences are migrating to new schools. Many programs in the humanities, social sciences and physical sciences are moving to the College of Arts & Sciences.

Applicants for Ph.D. programs are eligible for a waived application fee.

Applicants to master’s programs within Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) are eligible for the tuition discount. Applicants for Ph.D. programs are eligible for a waived application fee.

Current or recently separated federal civil employees to the MBA program in its traditional, Flex and Flex Online formats may be eligible for a 10% merit-based scholarship on base tuition for Fall 2026. These populations, and current or recently separated federal civil contractors, are also eligible for an application fee waiver that will automatically apply at the final submission to qualified applicants. Federal workers are also eligible to receive a merit-based tuition scholarship of up to 10% on the following programs: Executive MBA (EMBA), Master of Arts in International Business and Policy (MA-IBP), Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability Management (MS-ESM), Master of Science in Global Real Assets (MS-GRA), Master of Science in Management (MiM) and Master of Science in Business Analytics, Online and Full-Time modalities (MSBA). Eligibility for Federal Tuition Benefit

Current federal employees and affiliates, and those displaced from federal positions and affiliations since April 1, 2024, are eligible for a scholarship for full- or part-time study.

Application must include proof of federal civil service employment or affected status. Some restrictions may apply. If you have already begun an application and are entering your first year, please contact your program to determine eligibility and apply to the scholarship. Affected current students are eligible for this merit-based aid through their respective programs, following standard university procedures.
