Katie works both in Georgetown’s Office of Strategic Communications and with graduate studies programs and offices to communicate the Georgetown graduate student experience, as well as the unique contributions of Georgetown’s graduate students, to the university community and the public.
Before joining Georgetown, Katie worked as a communications specialist for the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and as a journalist covering business and public safety at the Orlando Sentinel. Katie holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Spanish literature and culture from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
