Clinical Quality, Safety, and Leadership (Executive Master's)
The overall goal of the Executive Master’s in Clinical Quality, Safety, and Leadership (MCQSL) program, in collaboration with MedStar Health, is to facilitate dynamic educational opportunities in a learner-centered environment. It is designed for practicing clinicians and care providers in all health disciplines, health care administrators, as well as other individuals who seek to become leaders in the quest for patient safety and the delivery of quality health care. The Executive MCQSL program immerses students in advanced theory and concepts of healthcare quality, safety science and organizational leadership. Drawing upon the teaching and mentorship of national and international experts, in addition to core Georgetown faculty, MCQSL students will acquire working knowledge of key priorities in healthcare quality, patient safety science, and organizational leadership, and they will develop a level of proficiency in the methods of these fields. The demonstration of learning will be evidenced by the completion and presentation of a longitudinal mentored capstone project. More details about the program can be found on the Executive Master in Clinical Quality, Safety and Leadership website at: http://patientsafetymasters.georgetown.edu.
