The National Academies
The National Academies is currently accepting applications for the Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowships. The Program is designed to increase the diversity of the nation's college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students. Approximately 60 pre-doctoral, 35 dissertation, and 20 post-doctoral fellowships sponsored by the Ford Foundation and administered by the National Research Council of the National Academies are available for award in 2007. All awardees have expenses paid to attend one Conference of Ford Fellows. Must be a U.S. citizen/national to be eligible, as well as planning a career in teaching and research at the college or university level.
