The Getty

The Getty provides a variety of residential and non-residential grants for scholars working on projects which will advance the understanding of art and its history.  The residential grants include fellowships for scholars working on the broad theme, "Duration: The Persistence of Antiquity" support for professionals and scholars working in conservation and allied fields, and library research grants. The Center's non-residential programs include collaborative research grants, postdoctoral fellowships and curatorial research fellowships.  Please refer to the "Grants" web page for additional information regarding these and other funding opportunities.

Funding availalbe only to those scholars in residence at the Getty Center in Los Angeles:

Grants for Non-Residential Scholars
Grants that allow scholars the flexibility to conduct research wherever necessary to complete their research/project.
