Georgetown University continues to be a place of great promise. We have an opportunity today that was almost unimaginable thirty years ago -- to educate some of the finest students in the world at an institution deeply committed to its Catholic and Jesuit identity, with faculty colleagues who are true leaders in their fields. We have a chance to do this in our unique way and with a community of scholars that is more vibrant today than at any moment in our history.
