National Physical Science Consortium Fellowships (NPSC)

The NPSC awards fellowships for graduate study in the physical sciences at participating institutions.  It welcomes applications from all qualified students, with continued emphasis toward the recruitment of minority and female in the physical sciences.   The annual stipend to the student currently is $16,000; NPSC charges an overhead fee of $5,000 per fellow supported per year.  Including the stipend, tuition, fees, and salary for two summers of internship, the value of an NPSC fellowship to the student exceeds $200,000.  Additional information regarding the award may be found on the Consortium's web site.  NB:  Students already enrolled in a doctoral program in the physical sciences may not apply

Deadline:  application due by November 5, annually
