Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I graduated mid-year, may I attend Commencement in May?

Anyone who has received a degree between July and May of the current academic year is eligible and invited to participate in our annual Commencement ceremony. Whether or not you indicated on your Application for Graduate Degree that you plan to attend, you are welcome and should follow the instructions on our website that are posted in early Spring semester.

When will my diploma be available?

If your degree was awarded between January and May, your diploma will be ready for pickup immediately following the Commencement ceremony in May. We will continue to hold it here in our office unless you request that it be mailed. If you received your degree in July or August, your diploma will be ready in late October. If you received your degree in the Fall, your diploma will be ready in late February.
