Diplomas and Transcripts

Diplomas for January through May degrees are available for distribution immediately following the Graduate School Commencement Ceremony in May, provided that the students submitted an application for degree through MyAccess (located at https://myaccess.georgetown.edu/pls/bninbp/twbkwbis.P_WWWLoginby the end of the Add/Drop period in January.

Diplomas for students who did not submit an application for degree through  MyAccess (located at https://myaccess.georgetown.edu/pls/bninbp/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin)   in January should be available for pickup or mailing at the beginning of July. Those students who have elected to pick up their diploma will receive notification when the diploma has arrived.

Diplomas for students who graduate in July and August should be available for pickup or mailing at the end of October. Those students who have elected to pick up their diploma will receive notification when the diploma has arrived.

Diplomas for students who graduate in September, October, November and December should be available for pickup or mailing at the beginning of February. Those students who have elected to pick up their diploma will receive notification when the diploma has arrived.

An official copy of a student’s final transcript, showing award of the Graduate School degree, is distributed or mailed with the diploma. Additional copies of the final transcript can be obtained from the Registrar’s Office  (located at: http://registrar.georgetown.edu/transcripts/) within two weeks after the degree award date.

Please note that University policy does not permit the release of either diplomas or final transcripts to students with unpaid balances of greater than $100. Students with unpaid balances should contact the Office of Student Accounts  (located at: http://studentaccounts.georgetown.edu/  for more information or to clear their accounts.
