Homeland Security Studies - Certificate Program
INTRODUCTION
The Security Studies Program (SSP) and Georgetown’s Public Policy Institute (GPPI) offer a 15-credit Certificate in Homeland Security to be completed within two years.
The new security environment in a post 9/11 world has created a need for people inside government who not only understand security issues, but also know the tools and techniques of policy analysis and management.
The Homeland Security Certificate is designed to offer students exposure to important homeland security topics such as terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, intergovernmental relations, policy analysis and decision-making.
