Effective immediately, the administration of the IRB-C functions will now be housed in the Office of Regulatory Affairs (S.W. 104, Med -Dent). We believe that the centralization of the IRB functions will enhance communications and allow for efficiencies in record keeping. This administrative change will not affect the review process. Projects will continue to be reviewed by a committee of faculty drawn from the social and behavioral science disciplines. Proposals may still be dropped off in the Graduate School in a specially designated location near the staff mail boxes. All correspondence will, however, be handled by the Office of Regulatory Affairs and questions should be directed to Sam Rigby.
Complete information regarding the IRB-c at Georgetown can be found on the Office of Regulatory Affairs web site.
